My mother suddenly made a casual comment and told me that her friend's son was doing law in NUS or sth. Then she continued saying why people can study hard u cannot? Then what u expect me to answer? Im just not cut out for this proper route of studying stuff la thats all. Why do you have to compare me with other people? I almost wanted to reply "Go ask him be your son la" But I knew better. Isn't it of more importance that we have a clear idea of what to do next time? Obviously he has a better shot at a better life than me but still hes problem la, u dont have to put it into my face right? We keep thinking so much we forget to take the first step sometimes. Feeling shitty now.
